2-Row is a light-colored base malt made from a blend of North American 2-Row barley varieties. It is darker than most lager malts, but lighter than most pale ale malts. It has moderate protein levels, and good extract yield. Its neutral characteristics make it extremely versatile, and it is widely used by North American craft breweries as their standard base malt for any beer style.

Double Crush Double Pluss
I do Brew In a Bag and so I have my grains double milled. I did that with these grains too and it came double crushed. It worked well and I got some nice sugars for my yeasty pets to eat. Works great.

Great 2-Row for general brewing
John recommended this malt to me about 2 years ago and it is the malt I keep coming back to. It creates a nice clean base and I can predict the conversion rate well. I have even turned two other brewers over to the CMC malt brand. It works great!
