A strong fermenter popularly referred to as Conan. Its peach, apricot and pineapple notes are steroids for hops, complementing modern fruity hop profiles in particular. A diacetyl rest is suggested if fermented in the lower temperature range. Many brewers enjoy blending DIPA with British V (OYL-011) for enhanced haze and complex, fruity ester profile.

achieved expectations
I've used other yeast products from Omega Yeast and I've been extremely satisfied. I wanted to mix it up with yeast choice for my recent IPA since I normally use London Ale III or some Chico strain. This yeast provided what I was looking for. It fermented out a 1.065 IPA in no time! I also find that this provides more haze (especially with a big dry hop) than London Ale III. Ferment around 68° and you get some nice peach esters and no off flavors. Recommend with fruit forward hops. I will say this yeast isn't as aggressive as some of your other strains out there. With a healthy starter and oxygenated wort I didn't need a blow off tube.

A great choice for a hoppy beer!
The aroma and attenuation I got from this yeast was fantastic. I think I found a replacement for the Chico strain for my Pale Ales and IPAs.
