bought two. both ripped at seam on first use
I bought two of these bags a few months back. Used one in January and the seam opened up at about the halfway mark. Figured I got a little crazy with the spoon. But I've never torn any other bag before. Used the second one of these last weekend. It also ripped. In the same spot, with the seam opening up about an inch. Didn't lose a ton of grain and the batches were both fine. These bags were both brand new and failed on their first use. I do 5 gallon batches so there wasn't a lot of weight in the bags. Very disappointed in these. My LD Carlson large coarse mesh bag is still going strong after 30+ batches. Good thing i kept it around as backup. Also the cord is ridiculously long. Just a poor product.

Perfect huge bag
Able to take all my grain for 5.5 gallon brews, and I do some high ABV stuff sometimes. Great bag I use for everything. Also great for quick cleanup of hop trub in the boil.

Great add-in for mash tun
Picked up a Bayou 15 gallon mash tun recently with a false bottom. Had trouble with grain particles plugging up the false bottom causing semi stuck mashes. Used one of these bags and problem solved. Can vorlauf using my march pump through-out the entire mash time to ensure consistent temperatures in the grist. Quality of the bag is fantastic for $9.00 and will last for ever.
